Privacy Policy
How Astarium handles Customer, visitor, and Network data.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. Who we are
Astarium Network ("Astarium", "we", "us") provides the Astarium website and white-label Network platform. We are responsible for personal data used to manage our website, Customer relationships, billing, and support. Contact us about privacy at support@astarium.net.
2. Our role for Network data
An Astarium Customer normally decides why and how personal data in its Network is used and is the controller of that data. Astarium processes that data on the Customer's instructions to host and operate the Network. Players should first contact the company identified in their Network's Privacy Policy. We may separately act as controller where needed for platform security, fraud prevention, and compliance with law.
3. Data we collect
We collect Customer and administrator details, contact information, account credentials, subscription and transaction records, support communications, Network configuration, service usage, security events, IP address, device and browser information, and cookie choices. The Platform also stores data that Customers and their players submit to Networks.
4. Why we use data
We use personal data to provide and administer the Platform, authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, support Customers, communicate service information, secure and troubleshoot the Platform, prevent abuse, improve performance, and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics are used only with consent where consent is required.
5. Legal bases
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases include contract for providing Customer services, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform, consent for optional analytics or marketing, and legal obligation. When processing Network data for a Customer, we act under that Customer's documented instructions and applicable data-processing terms.
6. Sharing and service providers
We use providers for infrastructure, storage, email, payments, monitoring, support, and optional analytics. They may process only the data needed for their services and are subject to appropriate obligations. We may also disclose data to professional advisers, during a corporate transaction, when required by law, or where necessary to protect rights and safety.
7. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses and apply supplementary protections appropriate to the risk.
8. Retention
We keep Customer and service data only as long as needed for the purposes described, including account operation, security, dispute resolution, tax, and legal requirements. Network data is retained according to Customer instructions, subscription status, backups, and applicable law, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing and to withdraw consent. Contact support@astarium.net for data Astarium controls. For data held in a Customer Network, contact that Network's operator first. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed for the nature and risk of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, backups, and tenant separation. No online system is completely secure. Customers must also secure administrator accounts and configurations.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to operate and secure the website and Platform. Optional analytics technologies are used only after consent where required. Our Cookie Policy explains the categories and available controls.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised date appears above. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@astarium.net.
